Most of the paintings in both Sanderling and Corvus are by Caroline Hone who was born in Jersey and studied at Salisbury and Brighton Art schools.

 

Caroline moved to Cornwall in 1985 and has painted continuously since then. We have been lucky enough to have known Caroline, and admired her work, since this time. 

 

Caroline lived in Cornwall, in and around Penzance, for many years finally staying in Paul near Mousehole. A few years ago she relocated to Scotland to further pursue her artistic career, but she keeps strong ties with this part of the country.

 

Caroline is now living near Kirkcudbright, celebrated as the Artists town, and draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape and is producing some wonderful new works.
